Project Spotlights

Light Takes the Lead

February 2026

To the opposite effect of how we started 2026, one of our most recent projects is a perfect example of how switching back to a blank slate can completely retransform a space. This bar room originally featured deep purple walls that, while bold, absorbed a lot of light and made the room feel darker and more enclosed due to the lower ceiling height. By transitioning to a soft off-white, we were able to instantly brighten the space, reflect more natural and ambient light, and create a cleaner atmosphere that still lets the character of the room shine. The result feels lighter, larger, and much more versatile. This project also highlights our experience working around unique wall installations. Whether it’s shiplap, corrugated metal, or other textured or specialty surfaces, we take a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to ensure clean lines, proper prep, and a seamless finish. We know how to protect and complement existing materials rather than paint over what makes a space special.

A Warmer Welcome

January 2026

What a fun way to kick off the new year! We were able to help a young Pierce County family make their newly purchased house truly feel like home. The living room originally featured builder-grade white walls throughout, which were bright, but lacked personality. With its large windows pouring in natural light, the space had incredible potential. By repainting the entire room in a warm, rich burgundy, we added depth, character, and a sense of comfort that completely transformed the atmosphere. The natural light now plays beautifully against the deeper tone, creating a living space that feels both inviting and distinctly their own. A bold yet timeless foundation for this family’s next chapter.

Weathered to Renewed

December 2025

This month, we had the opportunity to transform a coastal PNW home that had weathered many winter storms. The original pale-yellow exterior was heavily faded from years of saltwater exposure, and while the home itself was solid, the peeling paint and worn trim left it looking tired. After thorough prep work to address the wood rot and create a smooth, sound surface, we refreshed the home with a rich deep blue body color paired with crisp alabaster trim. The new color scheme not only complements the surrounding evergreens and seaside setting, but also gives the home a clean, updated look that will protect and enhance it for years to come.

Same Color, New Start

November 2025

Sometimes, repainting your home the same color isn’t about playing it safe. It’s about breathing new life into a space you already love. Over time, sunlight, wear, and daily life can dull even the most beautiful finish. A fresh coat of paint can restore that original richness, smooth out imperfections, and make your home feel clean, bright, and new again. We recently refreshed this Des Moines customer’s home in the exact same shade they fell in love with years ago, and the transformation was incredible. The before-and-after photos say it all: a crisp, revived finish that looks brand new while keeping the home’s timeless charm intact.

Realtor Refresh

October 2025

When preparing to sell, a fresh coat of paint can make all the difference. That beautifully custom wall you’ve loved for years may be part of your story, but for potential buyers it can feel personal or limiting. By painting over bold or unique designs with a clean, neutral finish, you give buyers a blank canvas to imagine their own style in the space. A simple update like the before and after seen above can instantly make a home feel brighter, larger, and move-in ready. We’re so appreciative of both our realtor partners and trusting clients that let us help with such transitions.

Bringing Color to Life

September 2025

Recently, we had the pleasure of seeing how September's color of the month (Fleur de Lis by Pantone) can bring a home to life! Before, our customer’s entryway felt a little plain and lacked the character they were searching for, but after painting the front door a cheerful yellow, it’s full of warmth and personality. This real-life transformation shows that shades similar to Fleur de Lis can turn an everyday space into a bright welcome and modern entrance. Thank you to this Bonney Lake family for letting us bring your vision to life!
